What if your personal archives were the foundation for your own AI? Come demystify machine learning with us by working with small, human-scale datasets that you assemble yourself. 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐭𝐬 Intensive In this 10-week online course, you’ll use your own creative inputs as the foundation for training custom image, text, and audio models. We’ll cover practical techniques for LoRA fine-tuning, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) for text, and RAVE for audio synthesis. Through hands-on projects and conversations, students will develop a nuanced understanding of data collection and the labor behind AI systems. By the end, you’ll have a handmade dataset and a trained model, developed into a final project. This course is led by artist and programmer Aarati Akkapeddi aarati.online, whose work explores the connections between memory and technology.
